The concept of Party Favorz started in 1999 when I’d get off a gig and show up at after-hours parties. People would ask if I had any party favors. Of course, they were talking about CD mixes that I frequently sold for $10 each. After a lot of back and forth trying to come up with a brand for the sets, I took the play on words and used it to start marketing the discs.
Fast forward to 2007 when I had a failed interview for Microsoft in which I was required to build a blog using their new platform. I was so excited about the possibility to take my passion to a wider audience that I decided to run with it. 9 years and 300+ episodes later, Party Favorz has grown beyond my wildest dreams.
Unfortunately, the site does not run itself and the monthly costs I incur for this revenue-neutral endeavor have spiraled out of my ability to keep up with them. I am a one-man operation living on a very tight budget. I need to get some relief or this whole thing will collapse, plain and simple.
