Going forward, I want to let everyone know that Party Favorz will continue on to the best of my ability. I also want to thank many of the folks that subscribed to the site and to give a shout out to Anthony for donating $100; always appreciated.
Due to the complications that arose from a corrupt database that led to issues with people not being able to login; I’ve made the decision to resort back to a donation based site and rely on your contributions going forward. This will allow me to operate normally with fewer complications that are beyond my technical skills and knowledge to resolve. I finally isolated the problem but had to nuke a certain portion of the site to get it working again.
I have cancelled everyone’s subscriptions and issued either a full, partial or no refund for the months of September – November depending on your subscription plan. Automatic notices should have been received by now. To be certain, I am going to be dead broke for the next 90 days.
At the same time, I have bigger issues going on that have taken a turn for the worse that I am attempting to rectify best I can. I have adopted a scorched earth policy and will be simultaneously dealing with the medical and legal aspects of my situation. Please be patient as I get things slowly rolling again.
The doors are open but not all of the podcasts have been fully restored. I’m working to get that complete over the next couple of days. Any emails, comments or otherwise I receive regarding missing podcasts will go unanswered because you didn’t take the time to read this notice. That’s about as polite as I’m willing to be at this point in time.
Last night’s election results for Donald Trump leaves me profoundly disappointed in the American people; particularly white people. We all have the same frustrations with government; political corruptness, corporate welfare, policies that only benefit the few at the top of the food chain and on down the line. Our goals are one in the same.
However, I’m afraid with the loss of the Supreme Court, all of the things we’ve fought so hard for like marriage equality, LGBT rights, equal pay, living wage, woman’s choice, racial justice, environmental protection, universal healthcare and on down the line have been lost for a generation.
No doubt this will be a test for the patience of the American people. Sadly I’m predicting we are going to see the kind of outrage and protests resulting from social injustice this country hasn’t witnessed since the 60’s. My heart aches for what’s about to transpire but I have faith that ultimately we will prevail. Getting there will be the most difficult part.
For now, I’m keeping myself together to make Party Favorz bigger, better, stronger and open to all.
