So, why the switch from Beach House to more flexible naming conventions? Simply put, it keeps things fresh, allowing for more variety when crafting the cover art. Think of it as a small twist that adds a new layer of excitement, similar to the mix itself.
Speaking of the mix, it showcases a distinct blend of genres. For instance, Prok & Fitch’s “Here Comes The Noise” provides a robust Disco House influence. The unmistakable groove of Funky House shines through in Horny United’s “You Drive Me Crazy,” while Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” offers a taste of NuDisco that’s hard to resist. This mix is crafted not just to be heard but felt, making it a versatile companion whether you’re beating the heat or dancing in the rain.
