When I worked for AT&T, it was my job to handle complaints, 95% of which were simply frivolous. I did it because I was paid to do it. However, at $5 a month for an average of 6 podcast’s, doesn’t give anyone the right to bitch, whine, moan and complain on a regular basis. I don’t get paid to do this and as I stated before, the money I receive goes right back into this site. Considering I easily spend $200+ each month on music, artwork, hosting, not to mention a shitload of time and effort putting all this stuff together, you’d think I could catch a break. Instead, several of you just fill my email box with one gripe after another and frankly, I’ve had it. It’s one thing if something is wrong or a file is missing, it’s entirely another to question my motives for how I choose to market this site or to constantly barrage me with idiotic questions that already have an answer in the FAQ section. At the end of the day, my hobby has turned into a full-time job and is no longer fun.
As promised, I’ve uploaded the two remaining Gay Days podcasts and the final BPM Edition of the Volume 5 series. You will have until June 5th to download the sets before this site goes dark.
I’ve also decided not to allow a handful of loose screws to ruin the Pride month that I had planned. So, I’ve decided that I will go forward with the Pride podcasts and it will only be available to those that have graciously supported my efforts. The private site will be on a new host as I am dropping Blogger and Podbean altogether. Meaning, everything that is currently available, will no longer be after June 5th. I will be sending out invitations to download the Pride editions once they are posted and depending on the available space with my new host, I may even throw in a few previously available goodies that many of you have been asking for.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LOG INTO PAY PAL AND CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. I don’t suggest you cancel it until after you have downloaded all of the current podcasts you want, as I believe the system will prevent access to them once your subscription is canceled and I will not be making these available due to human error, nor will I be issuing refunds. You will NOT need to have a paid subscription for the Pride mixes coming out later in June. Those are simply a gift to my current subscribers ONLY.
Ever since my email account got hijacked this past weekend, I’ve been having a lot of undeliverable emails. So, I suggest you add info@partyfavorz.net to your address book because this will be a one-time invitation for Pride month. Any decisions I make about the future of Party Favorz will be made by the end of June and right now, it’s not looking good. In addition, I will be removing myself from Facebook permanently and I just want to ensure that everyone gets this message prior to the deletion of my account tomorrow.
At this point, I’m tired and I need a break. I’ll be sending out invites by mid-June. It’s been swell.
