Party Favorz has been hosted on every major host currently in operation and at the end of the day, Podbean gives you the most bang for a lot less buck and the customer service has improved leaps and bounds from what it was back in 2008.
As I've mentioned, I'm heading back to school for a 3-month saturation in coding and my first motto will always remain true. That is, if someone points out a problem; either admit the error and fix it or tell them why it cannot be fixed. Don't lie; don't blame the person; don't blame another service; just acknowledge the error and fix it or tell the person why it cannot be done. Plain and simple. I'm talking to you Give donation plugin and Blubrry. At least Give fixed their shit without admitting their error after blaming the issue on PayPal. Blubrry, that's a whole nother deal but I digress.
I've saved $66 a month on hosting a month which will be a humongous help in keeping costs down around here. There was a lot of manual work involved to make it happen, but it was definitely worth it. Don't confuse my website hosting with the podcast hosting either. They are two separate entities. One I pay annually for and the other monthly.
So now, we're back in business and I can get this summer kicked into gear later this next week.
For those of you who have been following Party Favorz since day one; I am looking for a few things of mine that I'd like to go back and post if you have them. If so, upload them to Dropbox, Sendspace, Zippyshare or wherever when you have some time and send the links for re-posting to the site. Here's the list:
BPM Edition 2009 v5 | Pt. 1 – 4 (four sets)
BPM Edition 2009 v1 - v5 (five sets)
Year-end Edition 2007 | Deep & Funky (2 sets)
Year-end Edition 2007 | Mainstream Club (2 sets)
Funky House Edition 2008 v1 (2 sets)
That's all I got today. I'll get things rolling by the end of the week. Until then...ENJOY!
