There was always this allure or mystery about Stevie, which became further instilled in her personality once she went solo and released her first album, Bella Donna. That album spurred multiple top ten hits like Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around (with Tom Petty), Edge of Seventeen, and Leather and Lace (with Don Henley) and solidified Stevie’s reputation as a singer/songwriter that could hold her own without the backup.
With each subsequent album release, her mystique became more central to her identity and we grew more and more entranced by her allure. I know I’m not the only one that has fixated on her because I know a lot of folks that are just flat-out in love with her and her music.
While Stevie doesn’t necessarily fit into the “dance diva” mode, some of her music has been remixed for her fans. Some of it is official, while others are not. I took the best of the bootlegs and intertwined them with the official releases. Though not very long, I’m confident that her fans will love what I’ve managed to put together in honor of this enigmatic Sister of the Moon.
Party Favorz recognizes the substantial work of Stevie Nicks and honors her with an official induction into the Diva Hall of Fame.
