Gay Anthems For a New Generation 2018 has finally landed and boy oh boy is this one a whopper! For the uninitiated, this series began in 2016 and features re-worked classics for today’s dancefloors as well as modern-day queer anthems. The 2017 edition of GAFANG has consistently remained in the Top 20 downloads since its release, surpassing even my wildest expectations.
It’s now 2018 and somehow, someway, I’ve managed to take it to the next level. A HUGE thanks goes out to Division 4 (a.k.a. Leo Frappier) for making a lot of this possible. His modernized reworks of classics for gay fanboys are just what the doctored ordered. While I couldn’t use everything I wanted, his contribution to this set really sets the tone. You should check out his SoundCloud page and follow him as he sometimes makes these tracks available free to download. His staggering amount of releases are definitely worth your time.
And so it goes, another year of Party Favorz celebrating the month of June, also known as Pride Month. In all likelihood, this will be my last. Save a couple of new Diva Hall of Fame entries later this month, I plan on taking some time off. I’m heading out to Dallas today for a long overdue visit with my family and to celebrate my father’s life.
In the interim, you folks have more than enough to carry you through the month. Frankly, I’m exhausted so some time off from the site will be welcome. I want to wish everyone a very happy Pride! I’ll be back soon enough. Until then…ENJOY!
