Party Favorz returns with our much-anticipated annual release, Gay Anthems For A New Generation 2023! This collection celebrates modern Gay Pride anthems and the lasting role these songs play within the LGBTQ+ community.
Classic Gay Anthems Reimagined for Today
The 2023 edition breathes new life into legendary anthems from the past half-century, updating them for today’s dancefloors without losing the spirit that made them meaningful in the first place.
These are songs built around themes that have always resonated with our community: love, unity, resilience, liberation, and defiance.
Kicking things off is the enduring “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor. This time, we’re using a version that hadn’t previously appeared in one of these collections: Eric Kupper‘s House remix. It provides a smooth opening before the set steadily ramps up the energy.
Whitney, Diana Ross and Timeless Pride Favorites
You’ll also find Whitney Houston’s timeless “I Will Always Love You” in a Julian Marsh remix, along with Diana Ross’ empowering “I’m Coming Out”, remixed by Barry Harris.
These aren’t simply great dance records. Many of these songs have become deeply personal to generations of LGBTQ+ listeners, serving as soundtracks to stories of love, acceptance, identity, heartbreak, and finally finding the confidence to live openly.
