About two weeks ago, I had started on what would be a two-set funky-house-music series for April. I had gotten through the elimination process and just threw the songs together to see what worked and what didn’t. That was about as far as I got.
So yesterday, while backing up and clearing out my hard drive, I left the house music folder for last. I combined the two sets and dumped it on my phone to check out later. That evening, I decided to get drunk and play Monopoly (yes, it’s nice and slow and I don’t have to think) while listening to this rough mix.
Overall, the music is solid but the mixing could use some work and some songs likely would have been cut. Since I know I won’t be able to finish these sets, I left them as one and decided to share it with everyone. Keep in mind, this IS NOT finished product but is definitely good enough for your listening enjoyment.
This is the last thing on my hard drive and I don’t have anything else that was in the works. For what it’s worth …ENJOY!
